I am very happy that I am part of a musical family. There is not a time when I'm at a gathering where someone isn't playing their instrument or singing - it truly is wonderful. I feel that music is so important in anyone's life....whether you're listening, playing, or teaching.

My son, Anthony, a French Horn player, and my nephew, Nicholas, a Bassoonist are part of the New Jersey State Youth Orchestra here in my town. They work very hard each week to practice for their concerts which are amazing.

And with their hard work, I decided to have an Orchestra Party. If anyone knows me, I love a good pun. Much to my children's chagrin. When I crack up with a pun, my kids just stare at me and shake their heads. However, they did help me come up with a few of the names for this party!
